The Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev has received today in Baku a delegation of the World Organization of Intellectual Property (WOIP),Trend reports.
The head of the state assessed the recently signed agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and WOIP as a serious step in relations between the sides. В"For long years our country lived under another system, the property on the whole was not appreciated, there was only the state property and everything subordinated to the state. Azerbaijan is currently independent, the county is developing based on the market economy principles , he said.
WOIP director general Kamil Idris noted the necessity for fulfillment of all requirements stipulated by the document signed to serve the interests of the country, people and the government.
Ilham Aliyev voiced confidence that the document will serve to continuation of the countrys cooperation with the institution within the strong legal framework.
