US pleased with contributing in establishment of growing generation US charge d'affairs

We are pleased that we could contribute in the establishment of the growing generation in Azerbaijan and are satisfied with rendering assistance to strategic partner of the United States,Trend quoted Jason Hyland, the US charge daffairs as stating to a ceremony of awarding humanitarian assistance to a group refugee and IDP children residing at Dormitory 1 of Surakhani District, outskirts Baku.

Different US non-governmental organizations have rendered assistance to 580,

000 refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan and the support will continue.

The action was carried out through joint efforts of the US non-governmental organization Counterpart International, as well as the Surakhani executive power in the honor of the World Child Protection Day.

In general, it is planned to distribute a $95m humanitarian assistance in 114 dormitories, schools, boarding schools and kindergartens in 52 districts of Azerbaijan.

Counterpart International has been active in Azerbaijan since 1997 and in this period has rendered $50m assistance to Azerbaijanis and internally displaced people.
