Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received on 2 June a delegation headed by the Iranian Minister for Industry and Mining, Alirza Tahmasibi, Trend reports.
During the meeting the head of state noted that the relationships between the two countries were steadily developing. President Aliyev noted the significance of meetings held with the Iranian President. Aliyev voiced his hope that the
Iranian Ministers current visit will open new opportunities for upgrade of economic relationships between Azerbaijan and Iran.
In his turn Tahmasibi conveyed to Azerbaijani President greetings from the Iranian leader. Underlining that upon independence the relationships between the countries developed ad Tehran has always independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
