Irrespective of My Election or Non-Election to Position of CWA Chairman I will stay in its Ranks CWA Chairman

After the 9th Congress of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis (CWA) due in Brussels in December, the CWA Chairman Javad Derehti will leave form the United States of America, Derehti told Trend.

He noted that the preparation for the congress delayed the visit. But after the congress, we will leave for the USA, Derehti stressed, adding that within the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Rajab Tayyb Erdogan to the USA, he meet with the Deputy Chairman of CWA Rahim Shahbazi.

He emphasized that the departments of the European Parliament are overcrowded in December due to the large number of meetings. Therefore, the official persons of the Congress hold negotiations with the heads of the departments to define the place of conducting the congress, Derehti underlined. He said that there should be alternative candidates. There should be new forces to develop the organization. By present I have always been elected the Chairman of CWA. Irrespective of my election or non-election to the position of Chairman, I will stay in the ranks of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis, Derehti pointed out.

CWA was created in 1997 in Los Angeles by Azerbaijanis living in South Azerbaijan. The second congress of CWA was geld in Washington under the flag of Azerbaijan. Javad Derehti was elected the Chairman of CWA in the congress held in 2001.
