Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov has presented letters of credentials to Slovakian President Janez DrnovЕЎek, the press-centre of Azerbaijan`s Foreign Office told Trend.
After the ceremony of the credentials presentation was completed, the Azerbaijani Ambassador and President Janez DrnovЕЎek had a conversation during which Mr. Ismayilov conveyed Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev`s speech of welcome to
the Slovenian President. During the conversation, Mr. Ismayilov also informed his interlocutor about the negotiations over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and Azerbaijan`s position in this issue.
Then, the Azerbaijani Ambassador mentioned about the official visit of the Azerbaijani President to Slovenia, and expressed a hope that this visit will give an impetus for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries in all spheres.
In his turn, Slovenia`s President pointed out that the visit of the Azerbaijani President to Slovenia was a success, and expressed his hope that the development of bilateral relations between the two countries will be accelerated. He pointed out that he is interested in Slovenia`s cooperation with Azerbaijan in political, economic, humanitarian, and other spheres.
