On October 6, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Russian Minister of Economic Development & Trade, German Gref. Aliyev stressed that co-operation between Azerbaijan and Russia is developing in various spheres including political interaction, Trend reports. Speaking about the development of the economic relations, the President said that the trade turnover had doubled which is a very good indicator.
The State Head emphasized that there is a favorable economical environment in Azerbaijan and it needs to strengthen its relations in this sphere. He voiced his confidence that the visit of Gref will serve in the development of the economical co-operation between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Delivering the greetings of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin to the Head of Azerbaijan, Gref stressed that the political relations between the two countries are on a high level. He added out that the friendly relations between the heads of the two countries are a base for the development of co-operation in all aspects.
