N.Kirtskhalia / Mikhail Saakashvili, the President of Georgia calls for international community sufficiently react on similar acts of aggression by Russia against Georgia. "How long Georgia cannot respond to bomb by Russia," Mikhail Saakashvili stated to diplomats in Tsitelubani village of Georgia on 7 August.
The President met with the diplomats on the place of missile fell, launched by one of the Russian aircrafts.
Saakashvili called for Europe to develop a single policy towards Russia. " Russia should think of its future, as similar act cannot occur in civilized world," the President noted.
The act of aggression was attached at destabilization of situation in Georgia, to create confrontation among different political forces. They believe that such an action will cause disorder among population, which can lead to change of political course, considers the President. "Our respond is calmness and unity, which they do not expect from us. We will strengthen and develop our country more rapidly than it id today.
Presently, Georgia is a strong country and we can stand such aggressive acts against us. Nobody can lead us away from way of development and peace," said Saakashvili.
