Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Open Society Party will hold the second National Forum of opposition in near future, Akif Shahbazov, the chairman of the party stated on 23 August.
The first Forum of opposition was held in May. The Forum was held by non-governmental organization. The key issues of the forum were political situation in the country, freedom of speech and democracy and many others. Main obligations and powers of opposition were defined during the forum.
Shahbazov addressed to opposition parties to hold the next forum with the same agenda, while no party holds measures. "If no party initiates to hold forum we will hold forum ourselves," the chairman said.
Rasul Guliyev is the leader of the Open Society Party.
