Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend Z.Safarova / Prague recalls its candidacy in struggle for hosting the 2016 Olympic Games, which Baku claims at.
Chingiz Huseynzade, the Vice President of the Azerbaijani National Olympic Committee, said that citizens of Czech Republic do not have common opinion on expediency of hosting the Olympic Games in the country. "Czech journalists, who I am observing, consider that the games will be held out of Europe, and it is senseless to struggle. We must wait until 14 January, when those wiling to host the Olympic games will be known. All candidate cities remitted necessary fees and they cannot pass upon from the struggle," Huseynzade said.
Rio-De-Janeiro is also thinking of recalling its candidature due to organizing the World Championship on football in 2014
