Suspended Medical Workers Return to their Positions in Nakhchivan

Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, 5 May / Trend corr. E.Mammadov / Several dismissed medical employees returned to their positions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan.

Operational measures held by officials of the National Security Ministry and Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan revealed that over 1,000 medical employees who worked in the centre in Nakhchivan had illegally graduated from private medical institutes of the State Commission on Student Admission About 442 specialists from the centre were dismissed.

Several medical employees were re-instated to their positions after they displayed their dissatisfaction although their false documents were seized.

The Nakhchivan Health Ministry stated that the workers who worked there for 3 years could continue working in the centre until January 2009 despite holding false documents. Others would be dismissed from their positions.
