Azerbaijani footballer apologizes to fans

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.9 / Trend corr R. Ergun / Goalkeeper of Azerbaijani national team Kamran Agayev, who got a red card in a control match with Czech club Slavija, apologized to fans.

After the match Agayev said, "I know that I made a mistake. Such action doesn't become to a footballer of the national team. I beg fans' pardon and pledge that such action will not be repeated."    

Azerbaijani team lost the control match held with the Czech club on Feb.7 with score of 0:2.

Agayev was in a standby in the match. He got a red card after addressing impolitely to the chief referee from the bench.

On Feb.11, the national team will hold a next control match with Kuwait within the training in Dubai.
