R.Agayev / Azeri people, each Azerbaijani are obligated to remember and not to forget the day of genocide of the Azerbaijanis on March 31 and to present to world community the entire historical truth regarding Azerbaijan, said the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, opening the mourning event in the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow.
He noted that the older generation was artificially deprived of information regarding the truthful history of Azeri people. "Even we knew nothing about these and other tragic events in the history of Azerbaijan, since everything was skillfully veiled by the Soviet ideology of friendship of peoples," the ambassador said. He said that today the entire truth about this was known, and we were obligated to bring it to the communities of all countries worldwide, using all accessible methods, by means of communication, media outlets and Internet.
The ambassador said that it is gratifying that active Azerbaijan young people grow, who live with the thirst of revenge in a good sense of this word, and expressed confidence that because of the wise and expedient policy of the government of Azerbaijan, Azeri people still say their word.
Bulbuloglu especially emphasized that the basis of the propaganda of the truth about genocide of the Azerbaijanis in 1918 was put by nationwide leader of Azeri people, Heydar Aliyev, who signed an order that March 31 would be marked as the Day of Genocide of the Azerbaijanis at the level of State.
Azerbaijani society and diasporas in all countries worldwide, including Russia, must be more consolidated, especially in the nationwide questions, the ambassador said. "The dissociation is inherent to the diasporas of many nations and peoples, but unlike Azerbaijani diaspora organizations, others have good abilities to be united before nationwide problems, putting aside their ambitions and personal interrelations.
The second secretary of the Embassy Eldar Bayramov presented detailed historical information regarding the events of 1918, the reasons, prerequisites and consequences of genocide organized against Azeri people.
Making a speech on behalf of young people, the listener of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry Ibrahim Ibrahimov noted that today Azerbaijani young people carries out activity throughout the world in propagating truth about Azerbaijan, its histories and culture, but it is impossible to stop on the achievements obtained, and it is necessary to continue this work even more actively.
He said that in this case, big responsibility falls on the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan abroad. He also added that it is not, however, strange that the Soviet regime in Azerbaijan was built and destroyed through mass destruction of Azeri people by the Armenian occupiers, and this can not be forgotten. "Each Azerbaijani must feel as soldier, since war still continues, and we do not have the right to be weak and must worthily conduct diplomatic and information war against the general enemy," said Ibrahimov.
Diplomat, researcher, author of many books, professor Ramiz Abutalibov spoke of the fact that at that time in the Azerbaijan society there was no unanimous opinion on where to go further, with whom to be further, since there were both supporters of unification with Russia or Turkey and supporters of autonomy as part of Russian Republic. He noted that already at that time Shaumyan came to Ganja city of Azerbaijan in order to organize provocations and to raise the Armenians of Ganja against the Azerbaijanis and Azerbaijani government.
With regards to the urgency of the theme today, Abutalibov considers it necessary to continue studying this question and develop this topic as the theme for the theses, reports, scientific works. He highlighted special significance and constant urgency of Heydar Aliyev's words that it is necessary to report truth about Azerbaijan to the entire world in the different languages of world, especially in the language of host country.
