Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers approves secondary special education reforms

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved the "Program of Activities for Reforms in Secondary Special Education in 2010-2013."
The program is aimed to develop secondary education, as well as to provide the highly skilled service sector and production in accordance with labor market needs in connection with the development of the country's economy.
The program includes upgrading the regulatory framework based on international practice, updating the content and methods of training, and implementing a new mechanism for certifying teachers, and creating alternative sources of financing secondary education.
