All necessary measures will be taken over web pages illegally using the name of the Eurovision song contest. This applies to pages on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, the organisational head of Eurovision song contest, Sietse Becker told Eurovision-2012 official website.
The problem is that false information of the event is being disseminated at various online resources and social networks, operating under the official name of the European Song Contest.
He said that this happens quite often. Different individuals create web-pages giving the official name of the contest.
"If we reveal them, we appeal to people to close them close them," he said. "We have proposed closing about 15 websites since the beginning of this year."
