The Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues implementing the projects to promote Azerbaijan's culture. The next events are planned to be held in several cities of Germany, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation told Trend on Saturday.

The first event with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Azerbaijani consulate will be held in Stuttgart, which is considered one of the oldest cities of Europe with cultural traditions.

An event of Azerbaijan will be held in "Theaterhaus" in Stuttgart on November 14 known as the venue of the grand cultural events in Germany.

The concert program consisting of works by Azerbaijani composers will be presented there. Along with Farhad Badalbeyli and Murad Huseynov, German musicians will perform the works by such great Azerbaijani composers as Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev, Tofig Guliyev.

The exhibitions of paintings and photos will be organized during this event.

One of the stands, bringing together 19 paintings of talented young people, is called "Germany through the eyes of an artist".

One of the stands will showcase the works that won the exhibition-contests on Germany, which are traditionally held in Azerbaijan.

It should be stressed that the concept of exhibition-contests is to present the works by young artists who have never been to Germany but drawn their paintings on the basis of the creative imagination. Each year, three young winners of the contest held since 2008 are traveling throughout Germany, visiting the galleries and museums in Berlin and participating in master classes of renowned German artists.

Another stand will showcase the photos of the Germans, who have been living in Azerbaijan since XIX century.

The photos show the activity and lifestyle of Siemens brothers, who built a copper smelter in Gadabay region of Azerbaijan, which was the largest and the most modern copper smelter in Europe, and thousands of their compatriots.
