None of 26 Azerbaijani oil workers (23 at the Guneshli oil field and three at the Oil Rocks field) who went missing have been found as of 20:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours), head of the press service of SOCAR Nizamaddin Guliyev said Dec.8 at a press conference.

He said that the search will be suspended due to bad weather conditions and resumed as soon as possible.

Currently, the work to restore electricity and communication is underway on the platform.

Guliyev added that the specialists of Boots & Coots company visited the platform and became familiar with the situation.

Currently, they are on the platform #5 and are working out a plan for the further activities, he said.

Possibly, the specialists of the Boots & Coots company will involve their own technology for extinguishing the fire, Guliyev added.

Regarding the work plan for tomorrow, he said that a storm warning has been declared. If the forecast is correct, small size ships will leave the territory of searching, while large ones will continue the work.

Two "Vortex" and one "Topaz" ships will continue to work to extinguish the fire, as they are adapted to work in such conditions.
