Forum of Azeri students studying in Europe was held in Brussels

I forum of Azerbaijani youth studying in Europe was held on May 29, 2006 at the building of the European parliament in Brussels, Trend reports quoting Arif Mammadov, the Azeri ambassador to the countries of Europe.

Around 100 students took part at the forum studying in Great Britain, France, Russia, Turkey, German and other countries. The forum covered the condition of Azeri students and the creation of lobbyist group for coordinating their activities. During the second half of the forum

, one part of students hold discussions with deputies of their countries, and other part being interested in the integration to Europe got familiar with the activity of NATO. As a result of the forum, there laws made an appeal to the structures of the European Union.

A cultural program was scheduled for the night of May 30 discotheque with the alive Azerbaijani music. Trio jazz group of Emin Ibrahimli and pope-star Tunzala Agayeva will perform at the event.

The event is held within the weeks of Azerbaijan in European Union. Within these days, it is intended to hold a conference on June 1 dedicated to the energy policy in the Caspian region. According to Mammadov, Azerbaijan government and business-center of Belgium provided a great support for conducting the event.
