The forum of the world journalists and scientists of Azeri origin will be held. Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad (SCWALA), informed at the press-conference on June 13, Trend reports. The SCWALA is going to hold the forum of journalists born and living in Azerbaijan, but working in different countries at the beginning of next year without reference to the national origin.
Ibragimov informed about the forum of the world Azerbaijani intellectuals held between 4 and 10 June in Antaliya (Turkey). Within the forum, there was held a joint meeting of the Turkish-Azerbaijani society, meetings with Azerbaijani societies functioning in the USA and measures for creating the Assembly of American-Azerbaijani Association. The Turkish-Azerbaijani diasporas will work in the same direction and will support the ideas that serve the national interests. Next year, there will be held the meeting of the American-Jewish congress, and Azerbaijani panel will be created. Our diaspora will actively participated there.
