Eleven Turkish Universities Provide 46 Places for Azerbaijani Students
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S. Aghayeva / State Commission on Students Admission (SCSA) of Azerbaijan announced entrance exams to the Universities of Turkey in accordance with the international agreement on educational cooperation.
The SCSA informed that the time for applications is 28 March - 14 April, 2007. The document will be accepted in the SCSA items in Baku, Ganja, Simgayit, Lankaran and Sheki.
This year 11 most prestigious Universities of Turkey offer 48 places on 21 specialties. Among the Universities is the Ankara University (the Spanish language and literature, the Italian language and literature), the Bogazichi University (Political sciences and International relations), the Ege University (Computer engineering and Medicine), the Istanbul Technical University (Communication engineering), the Ghazi University (Econometrics and Medicine), the Hajitepe University (Culture and Literature of America), the Marmora University (Insurance) and others.
Those who entered the Spanish language and literature, and the Italian language and literature faculties in the Ankara University will have a year-long preparatory training on the relevant languages.
The University with English language education system will provide a year-long preparatory training on the English language.
The training time is not included into the study course. All the students will take a preparatory course on the Turkish language.
All the charges on education will be settled by the Turkish Republic.
The exams will be hold in the Azerbaijani and Russian languages on testing system in the centralized order by the SCSA 22 April, 2007.
