Aghayeva/ The spiritual leader of Caucasian Muslims, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, called upon the Council of Europe, the UN and other international organizations to acknowledge the mass graves in the northern district of Guba as genocide of the Azerbaijani people by Armenians.
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Department, told journalists today that he intends to send such appeals to the Heads of these international organizations.
He did not rule out the possibility on availability of such burial places in Lankaran, Ganja and other Northern regions of Azerbaijan, where at the beginning of the last century, Armenians committed brutal and cruel crimes against the Muslim population of these regions.
"The issue will be raised at the level of OIC (Organization for Islamic Conference) as well," said the spiritual leader of all Caucasian Muslims. The OIC is expected to produce a corresponding resolution," added Mr Pashazadeh.
