Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. Z.Safarov /An Azerbaijani body-builder, Vugar Verdiev, has become one of the best fifty body-builders of the Old World.
According to the rating, recently issued by the European Federation on Body-Building (EFBB), Verdiev takes the 41st position.
The points collected by the Azerbaijani athlete within last year's competition, including the World and Europe Championships, allowed him to enter the basic table of ranks.
Mr. Verdiev reached the semi-final during the Championship by joining fifteen of Europe's strongest body-builders, which gave him sixty four points. Patric Ostolani, a representative of Germany has achieved the same results.
Stefan Havlick, took the lead over Igor Losev of Russia and his countryman Richard Riddle, took second and third place.
