Iranian customs revenue increase by 37 percent

The revenue of Iranian customs over the first eight months of the current Iranian year (starting March 20) has increased by 37 percent year on year, IRNA news agency reported.

According to the report, the revenue of Iranian customs has reached about $ 43.7 billion.

This is while the revenue of customs in the same period of time in the last year amounted to $55 billion (176 trillion rials).

The report suggested that the main reason for the surge is a decision to employ electronic systems as well as international trade systems.
