One of the powers of the Chamber of Accounts has been revoked in Azerbaijan.
This issue has been included in the amendment to the Law on the Chamber of Accounts, submitted for discussion at today's plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament, Trend reports on May 17.
According to the current legislation, the Chamber of Accounts is entitled to consider the cases on the corresponding administrative offenses envisaged by the law and to apply administrative penalties.
According to the new amendments, this power has been revoked. The amendment was put to the vote and adopted by a majority of votes.
