A factory for the production of diapers will be commissioned in Azerbaijan, Trend reports on May 24 referring to the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation.
The project for the manufacture of diapers and paper products, implemented by the corporation and Rafa Group LLC, is of particular importance in terms of reducing dependence on imports of these products, resuming production at the factory, which was suspended in 2016.
This enterprise for the manufacture of paper products was transferred to the balance of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation in April 2020.
The production capacity of the factory will be 77 million diapers and 428 million wipes per year.
Products manufactured with equipment from leading Italian companies will meet market requirements.
Besides, laboratory equipment made in Germany will allow test the products in accordance with international standards.
The factory will employ 60 people.
