The goods and services worth 41.3 billion manat ($24.3 billion) were sold in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021, increase of 3.4 percent compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The cost of goods and services sold by the private companies increased by 3.1 percent from January through October 2021 and amounted to 39.7 billion manat ($23.3 billion) compared to the period from January through October 2020.
Some 47.7 percent of this amount accounted for the share of individual entrepreneurs.
One consumer on average spent 412.2 manat ($242.5) per month from January through October 2021, which in nominal terms is by 32.9 manat ($19.3) more than in the same period of 2020.
