A new petrol station is expected to be put into operation on the Goris-Gafan road in Eyvazli village of Azerbaijan’s Gubadli district soon, spokesman for SOCAR Petroleum CJSC Uzeyir Habibbayli told Trend.
"At the first stage, payments at this filling station can be made in Azerbaijani manat,” the spokesman said. “Foreign citizens will be able to pay through currency exchange at a point located on the territory of the filling station.”
Habibbayli stressed that foreigners will be able to easily pay for services in the future.
“Presently, the appropriate work is underway,” the spokesman said.
The filling station is based on a self-service model. The filling station has three fuel tanks. RON-95 Premium, RON-92, and diesel fuel will be sold at this filling station. Thus, conditions have been created at the filling station to sell fuel for all types of vehicles.
SOCAR Petroleum CJSC owns 41 filling stations and 11 oil tanks. The company has the only CNG terminal in the country thanks to which it is a leader in environmentally friendly fuels.
Each client has the opportunity to check the volume of fuel, as well as other advantages, at filling stations operating under the SOCAR brand.
