BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Trade and economic cooperation between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Azerbaijan is progressively developing, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach said, Trend reports citing Russia's Ministry of Economic Development.
"In 2021, the EAEU exports came close to the record levels of 2012-2013, amounting to $3.1 billion. The Union holds a significant share among the suppliers of goods to the Azerbaijani market (over 22 percent). The proportion of the EAEU in Azerbaijan's exports constitutes about eight percent, an increase of over 1.5 times compared to 2016," Volvach said.
