BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) is holding meetings with local and foreign businessmen to expand ties and implement new business initiatives, the agency told Trend.
As the agency noted, Chairman of SMBDA Management Board Orkhan Mammadov met with Belgian Ambassador to Baku Michel Peetermans.
The sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, as well as issues of expanding ties with the relevant structures of Belgium and the EU in the SME sector.
According to the State Customs Committee (SCC), trade with Belgium exceeded $19.8 million from January through March 2022, while this figure amounted to $21.6 million (a decrease of 7.99 percent) in the same period of 2021.
