BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Average monthly nominal wage of employees in Azerbaijan increased by 14.2 percent from January through April 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to 824.7 manat ($485.1), Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to committee, average monthly nominal wage of employees in oil sector amounted to 3,606.1 manat ($2121.1), in non-oil sector - 771.1 manat ($453.5), at state enterprises - 762 manat ($448.2), at private enterprises - 897.6 manat ($528).
At the same time, highest wages were recorded among workers in mining sector, in the sphere of insurance and finance, in the sphere of information and communications, in transport, warehousing and construction sectors.
