BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. The State Service on Property Issues under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy eyes auctioning off the Baku Shoe Factory, Head of the state service's department Aziz Mirzayev told Trend.
According to him, both local and foreign investors will be able to take part in the auction.
"Privatization of the factory will contribute to its investment potential growth, thus expanding the range and quality of production," Mirzayev said.
The factory's production capacity constitutes 300,000 pairs of shoes per year. The company is equipped with European machinery, and the raw materials are mainly supplied from Türkiye. The factory produces military shoes and other types of special footwear.
