BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan has spent 3.893 billion manat ($2.29 billion) from January through September 2022, the ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure increased by 230 million manat ($135.29 million) or 6.3 percent year on year.
In the reporting period, the Fund's income totaled 4.237 billion manat ($2.49 billion), exceeding the forecast by 2.8 percent or 116 million manat ($68.2 million).
"The SSPF received 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion) from compulsory state social insurance, which was 3.6 percent or 114 million manat ($67.06 million) more than in the same period of 2021," the ministry added.
