BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The average house prices in Baku's secondary market increased by 2.62 percent in September 2022 compared to the previous month, and by 4.47 percent against the same period of 2021, Director of the MBA Consulting Group company Nusrat Ibrahimov told Trend.

"In the reporting month, the cost per square meter in the secondary housing market amounted to 1,682 manat ($987.99), while in 2021 totaled 1,610 manat ($945.7), and in August 2022 stood at 1,639 manat ($962.7)," Ibrahimov said.

Meantime, the total number of offers in the capital's secondary housing market reached 1,689, dropping by 1.8 percent compared to the previous month and increasing by 23.65 percent year on year.

The average price of apartments in the secondary market made up 143,442 manat ($84,256) year on year, falling by 8.12 percent.

Moreover, the country's real estate prices are expected to rise in October 2022, the director added.
