BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. Azerbaijani hotel profits have totaled 209.68 million manat ($123.16 million) since the beginning of 2022, the State Tourism Agency of the country told Trend.
According to the agency, Baku's hotels had the highest profit – 128.542 million manat ($75.5 million) – in Azerbaijan.
"Hotels of the Guba-Khachmaz economic region made up 29.89 million manat ($17.55 million) profits, while the hotel facilities in the Shaki-Zagatala region drew 20.819 million manat ($12.2 million). In the meantime, hotel gains of the Lankaran-Astara region accounted for 10.047 million manat ($5.9 million)," the agency said.
The agency emphasized that local hotels' expenses reached 231.46 million manat ($135.96 million) in the reporting period.
"The expenses of hotel facilities in Baku equaled 129.243 million manat ($75.9 million), in the Guba-Khachmaz region – 37.547 million manat ($22.05 million), in Shaki-Zagatala – 21.652 million manat ($12.7 million), and in Lankaran-Astara – 18.407 million manat ($10.8 million)," the agency noted.
