BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Preliminary figures indicate that the nominal income of Azerbaijan's population increased by 20.5 percent or 11.7 billion manat ($6.8 billion) in 2022 compared to 2021, reaching 68.91 billion manat ($40.54 billion), Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the mentioned period, income per capita increased by 19.9 percent, or 1,134 manat ($667.06) in Azerbaijan.

The indicator of income growth of the population following all compulsory and voluntary payments totaled 20.8 percent or 10.6 billion manat ($6.24 billion) compared to 2021. Meanwhile, per capita income increased by 20.2 percent or 1,034 manat ($608.24).

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 2.6 percent in 2021, or 1.455 billion manat ($860 million) compared to 2020. During this period, per capita income amounted to 5,710 manat ($3,358), the income of the population following all compulsory and voluntary payments - 51.2 billion manat ($30.12 billion), and per capita income - 5,113 manat ($3,007).
