BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. Azerbaijan exported 678,600 tons of citrus fruits in January 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure has grown almost ten-fold on an annual basis.
"The export value reached $470.5 million, increasing 5.3 times compared to January 2022," the ministry said.
Following the 2022 results, the value of Azerbaijan's agricultural exports rose above $1.14 billion, rising by 3.2 percent compared to 2021. The country exported roughly 396,000 tons of fruits in 2022, which was 5.6 percent more than in 2021.
