BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. Türkiye reduced exports of ready-made clothing to China by 6.2 percent ($34.6 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye said, Trend reports.
Exports of ready-made clothing from Türkiye to China increased by 76.5 percent and amounted to $6.8 million in July 2023 compared to the same month in 2022.
From January through July 2023, Turkiye exported $11.5 billion worth of ready-made clothing, a 7 percent drop from the same time last year.
In July of this year, Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $1.6 billion, which is 3.9 percent less than July of previous year.
Additionally, from July 2022 to July 2023, Türkiye exported ready-made clothing worth $20.3 billion.
