BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. Azerbaijani citizens purchased 832 real estate properties in Türkiye from January through December 2023, which is 498 properties less than in the same period of 2022, Trend reports.
According to the information, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 52 real estate objects in Türkiye until December 2023, which is 87 fewer objects than in December 2022.
Meanwhile, a total of 138,577 apartments were purchased in December 2023, which is 33.4 percent less than in December 2022.
The report shows that 1.2 million apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through December 2023.
"These figures are 17.5 percent lower than the same period in 2022," the information said.
A total of 2,064 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye in December 2023, down 67.7 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
Foreign nationals bought 35 thousand apartments in Türkiye in 2023, which was 48.1 percent less than in 2022.
