BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. From January through March 2024, foundry steel production in Azerbaijan increased by 56.9 percent (up to 84.400 tons) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
The country's production of metallurgical sector products and
finished metal products increased in value terms by 29.53 percent
to 304 million manat, or $178.8 million (234.7 million manat, or
$138.06 million in the same period the previous year).

In 2023, the manufacture of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan compared to 2022 decreased in value terms by 12.57 percent to 1.16 billion manat, or $682.35 million.
In 2022, the manufacture of products of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in Azerbaijan increased in value terms by 26.06 percent to 1.327 billion manat, or $780.6 million.
