BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. Preliminary data indicates that the nominal income of the Azerbaijani population reached 31.8 billion manat ($18.6 billion) from January to May 2024, up 5.29 percent from the same period in 2023, or 1.6 billion manat ($940,000), Trend reports.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that per capita income grew by 4.75 percent or 141.9 manat ($83.4), in the mentioned period. The indicator of growth of the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 5.1 percent or 1.3 billion manat ($764,000), compared to the same period of 2023. At the same time, per capita income grew by 4.57 percent or 119.8 manat ($70.4).

To note, the nominal incomes of the population of Azerbaijan in 2023 increased by 12.85 percent or 8.8 billion manat ($5.1 billion), compared to 2022 and reached 78 billion manat ($45.8 billion).
The per capita income grew by 12.2 percent or 835.9 manat ($491.5), during the mentioned period. The growth rate of personal income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 12.83 percent or 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion), compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time, per capita income grew by 12.19 percent or 741.8 manat ($436.2).
