ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 4. Specialists of Turkmennebit state concern have explored gas condensate deposits at the Nogai field with a production volume of 11 tons per day, Trend reports via Turkmennebit.

A depth of 2,750 meters revealed reserves of 262.8 cubic meters of gas in addition to condensate.

China supplied the ZJ-70-DS drilling rig, which significantly contributed to the success. The rig demonstrated high efficiency in drilling through difficult rocks, which allowed the discovery of deep gas and condensate deposits.

This result confirms the potential of the Turkmen subsoil and demonstrates the successful implementation of the state program to increase hydrocarbon production.

Moreover, as part of this program, Turkmenistan is continuing to explore and develop other promising fields, such as North Goturdepe and Altygui, which will allow it to strengthen its position in the global energy market.

To note, recent successes of Turkmen drillers also include the opening of new oil and gas wells at Goturdepe field with a daily oil flow rate of 13 tons and Barsagelmez field with a production rate of 12.9 tons per day.
