Kazakhstan shares top destinations for outbound money transfers in Apr. 2025

Residents of Kazakhstan sent 144,000 money transfers abroad in April 2025 via international money transfer systems (IMTS), totaling 57.4 billion tenge (approximately $113 million). According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan, compared to March, the number of outbound transactions rose by 5.3%, while the overall volume of transfers grew by 21.4%, indicating a strong surge in cross-border remittances.
