The construction of the Aqva Marine Hotel in Georgian Tbilisi (7.5 million euros) in 2020 was realized thanks to a Slovak investor, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic told Trend.
"Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, significant project - Smart Green City Tbilisi (1.3 million euros), also continued during 2020. The company plans to invest 150 million euros more into it by 2028," said the ministry.
According to the ministry, Slovak investments were also made into the Bakuriani Entertainment Center project (some 0.5 million euros).
"We would also mention the Green City project in Kobuleti, where multifunctional green city will be built and Slovak investors are also involved in it," the source noted.
Bilateral relations between Georgia and the Slovakia as well as cooperation within international organizations have been developing dynamically.
Up to 10 international treaties and several inter-agency agreements form the legal basis for fruitful cooperation in the areas of economy, culture, defense, etc.
