Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / Ten new trains will be put into commission due to the anniversary of the Baku Subway scheduled for 8 November. Trains will be delivered to Azerbaijan in compliance with the contract signed with the Russian Transmashinholding enterprise, Elbrus Muradov, the chief engineer of the Baku Subway, said on 30 October.
The sum of the contract has not been announced.
The contract was signed in 2006. Ten trains were delivered to Baku in May 2007, and the other five will be delivered in November.
The last delivery of the Moscow trains to Baku was implemented in 2004. Then 25 trains were delivered to Azerbaijan.
