The Power Station No.2 compressor was shut after it began receiving too much liquid on Thursday night, according to a notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The problem was corrected by early Friday morning.
A BP spokesman declined to discuss refinery operations.
BP plans to returns the sour crude processing unit to full output by the end of March.
