The Baku Metro will shift to a summer regime in June, a source close to the metro said on May 14.
"It is planned to shift to a summer regime, when passengers considerably decrease," the source said.
At present 30 compositions move in all directions at the Baku metro, their number will decrease to 20-24 in a summer regime depending on passenger flow.
At present the Baku metro serves roughly 700,000 passengers on working days and this figure slightly decreases on weekends, the source said.
