Belarus should be building a valuable and fruitful partnership with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said, BELTA reported with reference to the presidential press service.
"At this stage, it is not the politicians' task - we have already done our job. Now enterprise should be doing it," said Lukashenko at a meeting with the leaders of Belarus's border institutions, which was also attended by members of the government, heads of key ministries and departments, as well as the largest exporter enterprises.
The President said that Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have important strategic energy resources, which exceed the scope of their traditional export markets. These countries are becoming increasingly active figures of international importance. Due to these factors, they will be seriously industrializing their economies.
