A new tourist facility "Agzibir", which will provide services for hunting tourism will operate in Davachi region of Azerbaijan, director of the "Agzibir" hunting and natural enterprise, Teymur Azhalov, said at a news conference on Sept.17.
"We will soon apply to Azerbaijan's Culture and Tourism Ministry to receive a license for tourist activities," Adzhalov said.
According to the director, at present they are holding work on the purification of the lake, laying the quality of roads and construction of new cottages in the "Agzibir" area.
According to Azhalov, unfortunately, in Azerbaijan, hunting has not been developed as one of the areas of tourism, although it is very profitable. The territory of "Agzibir" covers several thousands hectares of land on which there are favorable conditions for development of hunting tourism.
"Prices in the new facility will be based on the social status of the population, that is, 5 manat per day," Azhalov said.
