Technical and engineering exports hit $2.75b

The value of Iranian technical and engineering exports contracts in the 11-month period starting March 21 reached $2.75 billion.

The Mehr News Agency quoted the Trade Promotion Organization Deputy Kyumars Fathollah-Kermanshahi as stating that 63 contracts have been signed with 14 countries around the world.

The countries which have technical and engineering contracts with Iran include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Libya, Oman, Belarus, Armenia, etc, he said.

He noted that service in this period compared to same period last year increased 11 percent.

The Iranian official predicted that technical and engineering services exported will reach $3 billion dollars by the end of the Iranian calendar year (March 21).
