Azerbaijani pipe producer experiences second birth

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 14 (Trend)

Established in 1969, the Yevlakh ferroconcrete plant has now experienced its second birth like many other facilities in Azerbaijan, which have been standing idle since the USSR broke down, AS Group reported on Monday.

A skilful team of AS Group professionals "breathed" new life into the plant's shops: there was bought, installed and launched the following pipeline element producing equipment: concrete pipes, T-pipes, and concrete clinkers.

The Yevlakh ferroconcrete plant is specialized in production of a relatively wide assortment of pipes, including slip joint free-flow pipes with the inner diameter from 300 millimeters to 800 millimeters of two various dimension sizes: 1,500-millimeter and 2,000-millimeter long, respectively. Bell-mouthed entrance of every pipe is equipped with rubber cup that provides hermeticity of pipe junctions of a concrete pipeline. Pipes with more than 600-millimeter diameter are produced with reinforced steel cages to provide strength characteristics.
The Yevlakh ferroconcrete plant produces concrete clinkers of two dimension types: 1,000-millimeter and 1,200-millimeter. Each clinker is a conglomerate of several elements, including clinker base, clinker loop (or several loops), clinker portal, and a couple of additionally gathered elements of clinker hatch.
Upon customer's order, clinker base may be produced with two, three or four holes for two opposite pipelines' insert (two-hole clinker) or crosswise (four-hole clinker). The diameters of these holes may vary to correspond to "tails" of pipes, of which pipelines to be inserted will be produced. Thus, the assortment of clinker produces by the Yevlakh ferroconcrete plant covers every possible configuration of pipeline systems.

Clinker loops are also produced of two dimension types: 1,000-millimeter diameter and constructional depth of 630 millimeters. Through installment of one or two (or more) clinker loops at clinker base, it is possible to select project-designed constructional depth of clinker.
Clinker portal (cone) is also produced of two dimension types: 1,000 millimeters and 1,200 millimeters, with constructional depth of 650 millimeters and 880 millimeters, respectively. Clinker portal neck diameter is constant, 600 millimeters.

Additionally gathered element is clinker's special element representing small clinker loop with 600-millimeter diameter and 280-millimeter constructional depth. It is put onto clinker portal neck and designed for the leveling of clinker port with road cover level. Additionally gathered element performs one more important function: it protects clinker portal (cone) from being destructed by moving vehicle wheels, of course, at the price of its own destruction. However, replacement of a destructed additionally gathered element is incomparably easier than that of a destructed cone as it can be done without use of heavy building technology.
