Iran exported 3 million tons of oil products including gasoline, and furnace fuel oil by sea tankers and plans to export fuel for airplane, ILNA reported quoting Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company Jalil Salari as saying.

Iran exported 6,000 tons of liquid natural gas (LNG) and 240,000 tons of naphtha in first months of the current solar year (started on March 20, 2011) and plans to export one billion liter of gasoline.

"Iran exported one billion liter base gasoline in 2010 and also exported a 20,000 ton gasoline cargo to Afghanistan this solar year," he said.

Iran started gasoline export to Armenia by sending 1.5 million liter gasoline per day and negotiated with Armenia to construct pipeline to transfer further 1,500 million liter gasoline and gas-oil per day from Bandar Abbas port to Armenia for increasing gas-oil and gasoline export volume to 3 million liters per day.

Iran possesses the world's second-largest gas reserves and third-largest oil reserves.
